By placing an order or using the design tool on taverncreative.co.uk you're agreeing to the terms below. We've written them to be clear and fair — please read carefully before you order.

1. Who we are

Tavern Creative Ltd (“we”, “us”) is a wedding stationery studio registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11100975, VAT GB302033670), based in Kent. The website taverncreative.co.uk is operated by us.

2. Personalised stationery only

Every product we sell is personalised and made to order. You personalise your design in the editor, approve a pixel-accurate on-screen proof, and we print on 300gsm Fedrigoni Old Mill (paper stationery) or 5mm foamex board (A1 signage) in our Kent studio.

We don’t sell non-personalised or off-the-shelf stock, so the standard 14-day cancellation right for unconfigured goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 doesn’t apply. In its place we give you a dated cancellation window on your dashboard — see refund & cancellation for how that works.

3. The design tool and the 7am cutoff

Your order has a dispatch dateset at checkout. Up until 7am on that date you’re in full control: unlock the order from the dashboard to edit the design, reconfirm to send it back to print, or cancel for a full refund. At 7am the order locks for production and can’t be edited or cancelled from your side — anything urgent after that point should be emailed to the studio.

The design that’s locked in at 7am is the design that prints. Please carefully check spelling, dates, times, postcodes, RSVP details, colours, and layout before the cutoff. We can’t offer refunds or free reprints for errors present in the design when it locked — but we’ll always put things right if we misprint.

4. Colour variations

Colours in the editor and on this website are an approximation of the final printed result. Screens are backlit, paper isn’t — uncoated stock shifts colours slightly warmer, with cool tones affected most. We calibrate the press carefully. For colour-critical designs, order a £5 personalised sample first to see the real thing before committing.

5. Paper stock

Paper products print on 300gsm Fedrigoni Old Mill Bianco — a lightly-textured off-white Italian card, FSC certified. A1 signage (welcome signs, table plans) prints on 5mm rigid foamex board, lightweight and weather-resistant. If you have a specific stock request, email the studio before ordering and we’ll see what we can do.

6. QR codes and customer-supplied content

QR codes, URLs, photos and any other customer-supplied content are your responsibility. We generate QR codes at print resolution automatically; the destination URL is whatever you enter, and you confirm you have the legal right to use any uploaded images. We don’t assume responsibility for infringement caused by customer-supplied content.

7. The Tavern Creative mark

We print a small, faint Tavern Creative mark on the back of single-card products by default. It’s deliberately subtle. Designs that use the reverse side for your own content automatically omit the mark. If you’d prefer a blank reverse on a single-sided card, just ask before the 7am cutoff.

8. Ordering, payment and pricing

Prices are in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable. We take payment via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay) at checkout, before printing starts. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or content that breaches these terms — any amount paid is refunded in full if we do.

9. Customer accounts

You need an account to save designs and place orders. You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing studio@taverncreative.co.uk. We keep order records for 7 years as required by HMRC — see our privacy policy for detail.

10. Intellectual property

Our designs, templates, brand marks, photography and website content are the intellectual property of Tavern Creative Ltd. You may use the finished printed pieces freely for personal wedding purposes. You may not resell, redistribute or reuse our templates as the basis of another product or service.

11. Delivery and turnaround

Printing takes 1–3 working days for every product. Delivery time on top of that is whatever shipping option you chose at checkout. Full detail on our shipping & delivery page. Issues outside our control (carrier delays, supply problems) may occasionally extend timings.

12. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Set out in full on our refund & cancellation policy. The short version: you can cancel any order from your dashboard until 7am on dispatch day. After that, the order is in production.

13. Reviews and testimonials

After your order is delivered we may invite you to leave a review. Reviews must be constructive and free of inappropriate content — we may decline to publish reviews that breach those guidelines. Approved reviews may appear on this website and in marketing.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited by UK law. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We’ll always try to resolve issues directly first — please email studio@taverncreative.co.uk if there’s a problem.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or a notice on this website. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you placed the order.
